This album documents my first year in Hermanus from January until December 2013 and my relationship with a lady called Alyssa, who amongst other things was also a fine belly dancer. Funny enough, the "angel" refers to me, not Alyssa, as you can hear if you listen to the title song!

Start All Over Again documents the start of the inevitable break up, which culminates in the bitter finale Bye Bye Friend. The latter remains one of my most strident "breaking up is hard to do" songs.

The cover shows Alyssa strutting her stuff at La Pentola, a restaurant on the Hermanus waterfront, in July 2013. You can just see me in the lower right of the picture playing my guitar.
