This album spans the period and continues the good mood of my previous album, in particular I Got Style and Evolution. She Is A Lady is dedicated to Mel Williams who was the source of inspiration. Mel also helped with the narration text for Endless Summer and with the album cover.
I have included two previously unreleased numbers: I Got Style from 2004 and Weekend Blues from 2006, the latter not quite finished because I don't have my Fender Strat anymore! Two Guitars and Etude in E Maj are really just exercises in chord sequences with duets between my Taylor and Spanish guitars.
Endless Summer was originally just a pure instrumental, but without the movie it is quite a boring number so I narrated a bit of personal history just to fill the gap.
These songs were recorded between January and July 2017 in my studio in our home in Somerset West. I am playing my Taylor acoustic guitar, my favourite Spanish guitar and my Fender bass. You can hear various strings and horns, provided by my Roland JUNO-D keyboard. The drums are provided by a Boss drum machine (not programmed!).
